1 month old

yesterday marks bentleys 1 month bday! she gets cuter and cuter everyday!

Bentley Blayke

after 23 hours of induced labor and then an emergency c section: introducing bentley blayke schiller. born November 19th 2010 @ 6:44am. 8 pounds 9 ounces 22 inches long.

I was induced on the 18th @ 7:30am and didnt respond to induction meds until about 8 pm. I had contractions that were 1-2 min apart from 8 pm till 12 am when I finally dialated to a 4 and got my epidural. I went from a 4 to a 10 by 2 am and started pushing! I pushed for about 3 hours when the dr concluded my pelvis was just too narrow to deliever a baby. (AAAAAAAAAHHH) all that for nothing?! we then went into the O.R. around 6 am and had a c section. Bentley still did not want to come out, when the dr had me cut open she did a flip and ended up being pulled out feet 1st. What a stubborn little girl! She saw her 1st ray of light at 6:44am. It was a long 23 hours but worth every second of pain. She is amazing, it was love at first sight!

6 days old and already doing so great. We feel so blessed to have her here on earth and love her so much! She couldnt be any more perfect..

d day

WELLLLL its D Day and we have no baby. me and diesel are trying to be patient but its kinda hard..I went to the dr on monday for my 40 week apt and he thinks we will have to wait to till the 18th to be induced. He doesnt think my body is just quite ready for labor. so bentley gets to stay nice and warm for just a little while longer!

Im ready to not be so huge and be back to being my normal self but just with a baby!!
Dees is so excited to be a big brother! he is getting depressed waiting for her..

Cassidy made my dream come true and re did our bathroom!! we have a brand new shower/tub with tile and a new paint job! it looks great its so nice to have a brand new shower that no stranger has ever showered in!

Hopefully the next post will be of our little princess!! HOPEFULLY!!

halloween

Our spooky pumpkins.. bad picture I know. im in desperate need of a new camera.. mine is on the right and cassidys is on the left. We had a mellow halloween.. didnt go to any partys or anything, just watched a little football and ate good food. and we only had 1 trick or treater.. sad. i guess parents dont want their kids walking around "the hood" at night. I dont blame them!

We are officially in the final countdown till bentley is here. No more than 8 days HOPEFULLY. I went to my 39 week apt yesterday and the dr said she is head down and ready to go we are just waiting on her to make her move! we cant wait!!!

guns and babies?

Look where Cassidy stored a few of his hunting guns.. hmm good thing little bentley hasnt arrived yet! exactly 30 days till my due date!! i had my 36 week apt on thursday and everything is lookin good.. dr said we are right on schedule! :)

Diesel's getting jealous..

SOMEONE was a little upset when he found out that the cute new pink and blue shag rug was not for him.. it was so hard to tell that cute little face that was not his rug..


we only have about 10 weeks left!! SOO excited!

black bear && christmas in august

last weekend we went on an adventure over black bear pass in telluride, co. this has gotta be the prettiest, scariest, steepest trail on earth. i thought we were going to roll over that cliff tooo many times..

we saw two amazing waterfalls, they were so so pretty.. i needed my sis in law chelsey and her photo skills.. my little digi cant capture the beauty.

So last night i was home alone and decided to get crafty. I got out my sewing machine and thought hey why not make bentley her 1st christmas stocking! I had all this scrap material from the last project i did and had so much fun putting this together! now im really in the mood for christmas, i want to put out all of our other decorations. (but i wont)

This little cutie turns two here sometime soon.. we dont know his exact bday cuz the pound estimated he was about 1 when we got him last september. we cannot believe we have had dees for a year now!! time is flying!!! happy bday diesel!

Dreaming of dinner...

Its now 4:12pm, only 48 more minutes until i can go home and raid my fridge. baby bentley is as long as this strange veggie, some sort of cucumber i presume..

looking @ pictures of my cravings seems to help satisfy just a little..

i would LOVE a slice of pepperoni right now, or 2 or 3 slices..

grapes seem to be the most consumed food since being pregnant, give me a night on the couch watching tlc and i will go through 2 pounds of purple grapes EASY.

and of course i could always use a mcdonalds double cheeseburger, hold the pickles.

Man am i hungry! only 14 more weeks of this insanity and i will get to meet baby girl!! i think we will be making a paper chain countdown here pretty soon.. this morning cassidy was singing "99 days till bentley gets here, only 99 more days" just like 99 bottles of beer on the wall..

June & July

Summer is going by so fast! We have been super busy, we just completed our 2200 mile roadtrip to california for a visit. We had a lot of fun but i dont know how many more times we will be driving all that way! It was good to see my family and spend time with all of them!

We went to san fran for lunch one day..pier 39 was so blue! and we got to go to my favorite candy storeTook a day trip to santa cruz to see noelle and her kids..
saw miss sunny lou for the 1st time since my wedding. she is so grown up! and sooo adorable!

Went to the mystery spot.. gotta be the weirdest place on earth..

We also made our way to modesto which i dont have any pictures of.. but it was a great trip! We made it home on wednesday night and back to work on thursday! thursday was a lucky day for me @ work, i won us a new tv! i was soooo excited! here i am being vanna white showing of the prize.

yesterday we went 4wheeling into silverton, co for morgans bday. it poured rain on us and hailed, we all had blue fingers and were soaked and muddy. it was a fun day though!

Diesel is still being diesel. he loves his bones more than anything on earth.. we missed him so much while we were gone!! Baby schiller is doing good, she is getting bigger and bigger everyday and so am i. well happy july everyone!

We are soooo happy! everything is growing perfectly and the ultrasound lady says our diva has great long legs! Im so ready to go shopping and buy ribbons and bows and flowers and dresses!! we couldnt be happier!! the princess is expected to arrive just on time, November 10th 2010!!

memorial day, ouray, and a brighter me!

Baby Schiller is now the size of a bell pepper! We find out the gender in 12 days!!!! we are SOOOO excited! One day i think its a boy, the next day i think its a girl.. today i think boy.. so we will just have to see! Cannot wait!! Lemme know what yall think its gunna be!!

Memorial Day weekend we went to Moab. As usual Cassidy scared me to death going on the craziest rocks and stuff.. I chose to be the photographer and NOT be in the bronco for all of the scary parts.. All and all we had a great time and got some great farmer tans!
Yesterday Cassidy and I went to Ouray on a little day date just me and him. It was so much fun! we went on the "yankee boy basin" trail it was so relaxing and peaceful. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place! I took my dirt bike for a swim.. that puddle was a little deeper than i thought!

It was soooo pretty up there..there are waterfalls everywhere!

For mothers day cass got me a gift card to get my hair done.. i finally redeemed it and got some highlights! i feel so bright and summery and so high school!! Oh and dont mind my frizz.. :)

Hello blogging world!!

today the baby is the size of a lemon! i love reading my pregnancy blogs and updates. Call me lame but im kinda obsessed with this thing thats growing inside of me. Tonight I take my last two finals of the semester, im SOOO excited to be done with school for a while! In april we skipped on over to Moab for a weekend with the Schillers. Here are some of the pictures. It was diesels 1st trip to moab and he LOVED it. He was so tired/pooped by the end of each day, he had a blast.
